Staff Training
An exciting time of team-building, learning, and fun, this is the one time in the whole year we gather our whole community together to prepare ourselves for the summer. You will not want to miss this!
What to Expect
Staff Training is the time we come together to learn the skills and attitudes we need to be successful at summer camp. It involves spiritual formation, learning to lead, understanding policies and procedures, practicing working together as a team, and fun events. Key supportive friendships are developed over this time together. All summer staff members (paid and volunteer) are required to attend in order to be well-prepared for all that the summer holds.
Staff Training Dates
There are no fees for Staff Training, but you must be accepted through the screening process (including application, references, criminal record check, interview, medical form, etc.).
Staff Training for 2025 goes from June 20-23, and SWAT Training goes from June 19-25. Training for all staff starts at noon on Friday and ends Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m., except for the SWAT Team. SWAT training ends on Wednesday, June 25 at 10:00 p.m.
